ENGLISH SYLLABUS 1.         POSTITION STATEMENT “The Most Gracious (Allah) has taught (us) the Qur’aan. As the teaching of English in these countries is traditionally based on the “cultural heritage” model, Muslim learners are forced to imbibe values which are derived from the Eurocentric Judaeo-Christian perspective.
